SHTV: OUR HOUSE

""SHTV: OUR HOUSE"" is the 11th episode of SHTV, an art project dedicated to biopolitics and dissident bodies. The 40min video portrays the Queer Quilombismo of POSÁ SUTO, an Afro-Colombian kuir collective who run cultural and educational activities with kids and youth in Colombian cities. Interweaving theoretical texts and clips from kids TV programs that engage with ideas of colonialism, this episode blends lived experience, history and maroon queer ecology to present underrepresented grassroots approaches to pedagogy that overcome the ecocidal white cis het patriarchy by extending the legacy of marronage in the Americas yet with a decidedly marica sensibility.
