„Politiken der Devianz IV: Tosquelles – fremd, schräg, queer“ / „Politics of Deviance IV: Tosquelles – strange, odd, queer”

Die Figur, um die auch dieses Seminar kreist, ist François Tosquelles (1912-1994) und seine anti-faschistischen und anti-autoritären institutionellen Praxen. Wir werden ebenso seine psychiatrischen Praxen kennenlernen, als auch in die historischen Verhältnisse und sein daraus entstandenes kooperatives und queeres Denken eintauchen. Tosquelles hat maßgeblich die Psychiatriekritik des 20. Jahrhunderts beeinflusst, und die davon nicht zu trennende poststrukturalistische Theorie. Im Kontext von Krieg, Migration und Flucht entwickelte er ein philosophisch-therapeutisches Denken, das Bewegungen und Körperrhythmen in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Die revolutionäre Therapie inmitten des anti-faschistischen Widerstands in Südfrankreich besteht mittels Selbstverwaltungen und Versammlungen vor allem darin, gemeinsam, kooperativ Leben zu lernen. Dazu braucht es weniger Einzel-, sondern institutionelle Therapie und die Sorge um die Institution. Das Seminar dient auch zur Vorbereitung der internationalen Konferenz „Queer Tosquelles“, am 21. und 22. Juni an der KHM. The figure around which also this seminar revolves is François Tosquelles (1912-1994) and his anti-fascist and anti-authoritarian institutional practices. We will also get to know his psychiatric practices, as well as the historical circumstances and his resulting cooperative and queer thinking. Tosquelles was a crucial influence on the 20th century critique of psychiatry, and the poststructuralist theory that cannot be separated from it. In the context of war, migration and flight, he developed a philosophical-therapeutic way of thinking that focuses on movements and bodily rhythms. The revolutionary therapy in the midst of the anti-fascist resistance in southern France consists primarily of learning to live together, cooperatively, by means of self-administration and assemblies. This requires less individual therapy than institutional therapy and care for the institution. The seminar also serves as preparation for the international conference "Queer Tosquelles" on June 21 and 22, 2024 at the KHM.
