Pictures taken in empty spaces of museum buildings are integrated in structures with pale blue background that creates another anonymous space. This abstract “secondary” space, which is reduced to simple combinations of flat colours and shadows, quotes the concrete “primary” image of the museum buildings and adopts its structural elements from them. The relationship between the two spaces jeopardises the perception of space and blurs the border between reality and imagination given by photographic images.
