THE BRIDGE

""The Bridge"" presents an utopian and poetical balance between two sides of the world, where an ambivalence of different conducts and human behaviors in each cultural system is proposed. Such difference should be understood as a transit through a bridge, where different kinds of sense are produced: connections or non-connections, uncertainty, displacement, identity, fragility and balance. The current piece aims to questionate the belonging to a place as well as the tension between parts when it happens. The installation is composed of two video monitors, which hang from the celling while an edited video performance is presented on the screens. This work should be understood like a site specific work as it is planned to create a dialogue with the nature and the language of the space. In that case a structural configuration presents an opportunity to get an interaction between ""Raum"", spectator, object and image.
