THE BRIDGE

Video performance, where the body acts as a Connection between two different systems: Germany-Colombia. That symbolism is proposed as PAL and NTSC video signals, showing an inner language of cultures, merchandising and technological societies. Using the body as a medium, a mix of those signals happens in different stages: an exploration on the skin impedance; a lecture with special medical devices in the mouth, making the mix of signals possible; a connection with needles in order to send the video signal through the body, in which case the signal is mixed in muscles.
