Over the course of the semeser we will also explore work in the public sphere, experimental directorial and performative exercises using scenes and excerpts to illustrate interpretative approaches and look at the role of the camera in live work, and the influence of pop culture in performative settings.
In Dramarama we will be looking at significant texts and excerpts from plays written by Travis Alabanza, ntozake shange, Caryl Churchill, Federico Garcia Lorca, Ella Hickson and Henrik Ibsen.
