Filament

'Filament’ uses sounds recorded deep inside of the nuclear power plant Olkiluoto in Finland and visual material shot with time-exposure in nature. What appears to be a still projection and a still sound, is distended, develops subtly and enters the viewers perception as a gradual image and sound vibration.

SARoskop

Karin Lingnau, Martin Hesselmeier
The project SARoskop is dealing with the visualisation of electromagnetic waves. The modular work is composed as an interactive sculpture reacting sensitively  to the data of the proximate surrounding, transforming it into  movement and interdependent oscillations. The installation reflects aspects of a mobile society in using devices as an essential part of everyday-life.
Visualizing electromagnetic waves is confronting the user with the otherwise invisible surrounding ubiquitous data.
