Recherche & Interview

Research and interviews are closely interwoven practices for collecting documentary material. Creating archives, developing a theme, delving into milieus, understanding contexts, developing themes. They can provide the basis for screenplays, fiction, documentary film exposés or already provide material for installations, film and sound, literary texts or other text forms.

Different forms of approach through research and interviews will be discussed, presented and tested in small practical exercises during the course.
