How to study

What is study? How do we study? This question might seem simple but we will explore the complexities and antagonism of a practice of study. To aid us in our study we will turn to examples of others studying together in different ways and in different contexts around the world. We will consider all the ways study can manifest itself in seemingly disparate practices, and we will consider the insurgent possibilities of the collective act of study. Texts will include 'Debt and Study' by Harney and Moten and The Classroom is Burning by the KUNCI collective. Please note this seminar will meet every two weeks during the semester and culminate in an intensive in the study week in July.
