Press Play 3: Sounds & Setups

Das Seminar widmet sich Klang als performativem Material. Wir stellen uns gegenseitig unsere individuellen (Live/Sound/Performance/...) Setups vor, spielen füreinander und hören miteinander. Gemeinsam untersuchen wir, welche klanglichen Situationen und Interaktionen durch die Verwendung von Instrumenten, Geräten oder Interfaces entstehen. Ziel ist es, die eigene aktuelle performative Praxis zu reflektieren, weiterzuentwickeln und am Ende des Semesters in einer performativen Form öffentlich zu präsentieren.

The seminar approaches sound as performative material. We will introduce each other to our individual live, sound, performance, or related setups, play for one another, and listen together. Collectively, we will explore the sonic situations and interactions that emerge through the use of instruments, devices, or interfaces. The aim is to reflect on and further develop one’s current performative practice and to present it publicly in a performative format at the end of the semester.
