Elektronikwerkstatt im Klangatelier: Wireless Interfaces

In dieser Kompaktwoche beschäftigen wir uns mit interaktiven Systemen für Performances und Klang-Installationen auf Basis von Sensoren, Wearables und drahtloser Kommunikation. Mit ESP32-Mikrocontrollern, verschiedenen Sensortypen und Wireless-Technologien entwickeln wir Systeme, die Bewegungen, Berührungen, Körperdaten oder Umgebungsparameter in Echtzeit in Sound übersetzen – in Kombination mit Pure Data sowie Plattformen wie Bela, Raspberry Pi oder Teensy. Im Mittelpunkt stehen experimentelles Arbeiten und die Entwicklung eigener Projekte – von soundsteuernden Kostümen und performativen Interfaces bis hin zu interaktiven Installationen.

In this Kompaktseminar, we explore interactive systems for performance and sound installations based on sensors, wearables and wireless communication. Using ESP32 microcontrollers, various sensor types and wireless technologies, we develop systems that translate movement, touch, body data, or environmental parameters into sound in real time – in combination with Pure Data as well as platforms such as Bela, Raspberry Pi, or Teensy. The focus is on experimental work and the development of individual projects – ranging from sound-controlled costumes and performative interfaces to interactive installations.
