/ CfPP / Center for Public Practice

some white chalk lines of text, upon a blackboard, concerning Vita Activa by Hannah Arendt

In collaboration with the KHM rectorate and colleagues, artist and media art professor julia scher establieshed the Center for Public Practice: the on artistic practice focused seminar started 2008/09. CfPP is a temporary but also reitarative platform for discussion and production, looking for objects for intervention in order to mobilize young artists to a pronounced social related artistic practice. The social frame of an exploration and research spot mediates the coordinates for interventional ideas, whether perfomative and temporary or artefact-oriented. Site-specific is one of the possible denominations of this kind of artistic strategy.

CfPP is one of the labels of SAG - Surveillant Architectures Group.
