Installation setup

Aufsicht auf den InstallationsaufbauIn the middle of the exibition space four translucent canvases are placed. Each has a height of about 2.5 m  and a width of about 3 m. They are positioned to separate a rectangular space from the surrounding room. At the edges the observer can peek inside. One edge is open to let the visitors enter. The inside space of about 3 m x 3 m is the area where the robotic elements are moving and where they can be influenced by the visitors.

Frontalansicht auf den InstallationsaufbauThis setup provides an inside and outsite perspective. An observer from the outside sees the movement of light, shadow and inside visitors. But only if he enters the inner rectangle the core of the installation is revealed, the elements, their movment and reaction patterns. The observer gets part of the whole.
