“El extraño” llega cuidadosamente a un lugar en el que nunca estuvo antes. Atraviesa un proceso de reducción: primero deja a su familia, su cultura, y luego sus creencias y a veces sus sueños. Más adelante, el cuerpo se convierte en la única identificación con sus orígenes. Pero este cuerpo cambia y se degenera (y ya no puede reconocer su imagen en el espejo). Entonces preguntas como “¿qué soy yo?” y “¿qué es mi imagen”? se tornan habituales.

“El extraño” es el único personaje de un relato que se escribe todos los días. Es parte de la nación flotante: 50 millones de extranjeros viviendo fuera de su tierra natal. Su cuerpo se divide en 7 partes: memoria, fe, origen, transgresión, desdén, transformación. Esta es la primera vez en que este personaje va a ser separado de su medio original (la computadora), para ser presentado en la forma de una instalación (fotografías, impresiones y objetos). El visitante entra con cuidado en la exposición como si el palco de esa escenificación fuera quebradizo. (in Spanish by Enrique B.)

"The stranger" arrives carefully in a place he has never been before. He lives a reduction process: first he leaves his family, his culture, then his believes and sometimes his dreams. Later on, the body becomes the only original identification with his origins but this body changes and degenerates (and he can't recognize his image on the mirror) so questions like "what is me?" and "what is the image of me?" become part of the day life.

"The stranger", is the only character of a narrative that is being written everyday. He is part of a floating nation, 50 million foreigners living somewhere outside of their homeland. His body is divided in 7 parts: memory, faith, origin, trangression, perception, disdain, transformation. This is the first time that this character will be dislocated form its original media (computer) and be presented in form of haptish installation (photographies and print).
