Amarelinha

print on vinyl, 2m x 0,90 m
2002

Amarelinha: hopscotch. There are 10 fields you have to jump through to get from Haven to Hell and back. Amarelinha is a printed photomontage simulating this game, to be put on the floor, so people can jump on it. Though the fields of this game are full of eggs in natural size.

Nó na garganta (knot in the throat)

text print in black and white, 15m x 0,90m
2002

This text is 15 meters long and shows a diary of a person in a social captivity. This is the intimacy of a person who is marginal to a social life: day-by-day hanging on the Internet, the wait of a message or a call from anywhere from anybody, the news from abroad on the web, the names to be forgotten, the solitude. This work was shown in an occupied house in the suburbs of Sao Paulo in an art event called "Cativeiro" (captivity).
