Description of the recording place
Morioka has 250.000 inhabitants. In Morioka is a public university, a ?
university (only two years of study), a private university and a private medicine
university.
In the suburb Shizukuishi the ski world championship took place four years ago.
The mentality of the Morioka people is very similar to North German people,
especially to Hannover people.
In the winter we have less of snow, but in the mountain there are big skiing

Description of the location
The camera was placed on the bridge KAMINOHASHI which means "bridge from above". From here you can see the tower of the Electric Power Company of Morioka - illuminated in slowly changing colours - and the river NAKATSUKAWA - it flows in the center of Morioka against south and is well known becaus of the salmon that come up the river once a year.
The red illuminated chinese signs in the left are advertising for a japanese rice wine company called KIKUNOTSUKASA.

Nothing special happend on the 9th of September.
But on the 15th of September Morioka will have a big Celebration. It^s the harvest festival in autum.
It^s a pity taht that we can^t record this festival.
