Denver Colorado is on the edge of many miles of high plains at the base of
the Rocky Mountains
Description of the location
Shooting toward the downtown buildings across an interstate and some railroad
tracks
What is special to the choosen location
At 4am it's dark in Denver and most people are asleep. I chose this location
because there was some light and activity
What does the recording show
You can see cars, trucks and busses on the interstate, smoke from train engines,
and very dimly on downtown buildings
What can be heard
You can hear the traffic passing
What happend at your location on the 9th of September
Nothing major that I know of
What happend in your country on the 9th of September
I did not follow the national news that day
Personal commentary
I was surprised at the amount of traffic at that time of day in Denver
My thanks go to Lilly and Rich Gabriel at Flashback Viedeo Productions
for providing batteries that lasted the whole hour with no interruptions
There were no breaks or dirsturbances during the recording. Nothing unusual
occured as far as I know. The full moon was very beautyful, especially when
high thin clouds moved across it, but you can't see that in the shot. I watched
the moon a lot during the shoot because it was so picturesque.
The moon was a touching point connecting me with everyone else on this side of
the planet who could also see it during the shoot. There was a bank of fog that
I hoped would move in and envelope the city during the shoot but it stayed
north and eventually dissipated
