On board R/V Endeavor, port side 02 level behind the wheel house, approximately 30 feet above sea level.

Description of the recording location
R/V Endeavor was at 38,50N and 68,13 W approximately 160 miles South East of Montauk Long Island 260 miles East of Delaware Bay, heading South East.

What is special to the choosen location
The location was not part of our planned itinerary, it was an escape from rough Golfstream Waters that were whipped up from Hurricane Luis.

What does the recording show
The recording does not show much at first as it was early and very overcast.
It does brighten up considerably as the sun shine breaks through in the east and the cloud cover loosens. Humidity and sea spray on the lensdoes not help the video. Some sea birds can be seen near the end of the recording.

What can be heard
Engine background noise, sea and wave noises.

What happend at your location on the 9th of September
Not much happend for us on Sept. 9th as we were not on station, and we had no work scheduled for that location.
