How do you live
In a house
What did you do on the day of recording
I went to bed at 12:30am after spending time preparing for the shoot. I got
up at 2:30am and drove to the location and set up the shot. The shoot began
just before 4am. Afterward I came home, checked the footage, and sent a report
via the internet. I was a little buzzed so I stayed up and practiced some of my
music. I went to bed at around 7:30 and slept for four more hours. Other things
I did that day included working on some videographics, talking to friends on
the phone, reading the newspaper, studying the manual for a piece of equipment,
replanting a tree, and spending time with my girlfriend
What would you normally be doing at the time of recording
Sleep, or sometimes I'm still working on projects
What do you prefer for breakfast
I often don't eat breakfast. When I do it might be a piece of fruit, a bagel,
or a bowl of granola with orange juice (not milk)
What do you prefer for the day`s most important meal
A typical major meal might be rice, broccoli and chicken
What do you believe in
I believe we know very little about anything. I believe we act out a lot of
preprogrammed behaviors. I believe it's good to question them.
Your favourite TV show
The Simpsons (an acerbic cartoon for adults), Science/nature shows ("The day
the universe changed" series is a favorite), Sesame Street (cool animations
and production), movies. But I don't watch much TV
What did you do in your last vacation
Went camping in the Rocky Mountains with friends
What does the word "Time" mean to you
A dimension that somehow contains how we experience life
Speaking of time, next time let's choose a time for the shoot that makes
the Europeans get up at 4am
Why are you interested in the WorldVideo 40North Project
I'm interested in participating in projects that bring the world together
and help people realize that we all share a very small planet in a very big
universe
Whishes for the world
I wish happiness for everyone. I wish everyone would take a step back and see
a much bigger picture and a much smaller one
Personal commentary
It was fun to thing of the other camera people around the world all recording
the same hour together. I am very interested in seeing the final result of
this project!
