Center for Public Practice (CfPP) Advanced Studies

Seminar for working in public space. This seminar will include postproduction discussion and critique. The semester continues with projects for vogelsang, the former national socialist military school and now new nature park in the Eifel. Topics include-resisting the activity of forgetting; how a media work handles intense memory; pandemonium; amusement; and secrecy.
Panel discussions: identifying critical public dialogues; new forms and concepts for public space; unpacking assumptions about “dark tourism”; and speculation and societal expectations of youth.
Writing activity.
